Clubs that play blitz 17

Several clubs of the region keep a monthly blitz evening. The Schachklub Ludwigshafen 1912 opens its blitz on the first Friday of the month to outside players, as does the SC Bad Dürkheim-Wachenheim on the first Tuesday, where guests are welcome from half past seven. The Post SV Neustadt plays its monthly blitz on the first Friday, the Schachfreunde Limburgerhof hold their MoBli on Friday evenings from eight, the Schachclub 1948 Hagenbach on the last Friday of the month, and the SV 1930 Hockenheim held the first monthly blitz of its 2026/27 season in October.

Elsewhere blitz comes as club championships and summer events: the Schachfreunde Rot’71 ran club blitz rounds and a children’s blitz series through the winter, the SK 69 Mühlhausen played its club blitz in an allotment garden in July, the Schachfreunde 1946 Brühl list blitz evenings in their calendar, and Großsachsen and Biblis hosted the district blitz championships in the autumn of 2026.
