Chess on a Thursday 4

Thursday belongs to one meeting place and three clubs. In the afternoon, from three until half past four, the city’s integration centre in Bensheim opens its chess meeting to players of every age, free of charge and without any sign-up or prior knowledge.

The clubs play later. The Schachklub 1995 Laudenbach trains its juniors from seven and starts its club evening at eight in the Gaststätte Zum Bahnhof. The Schachclub 1958 Malsch, in the village near Wiesloch, plays from eight in the Zehntscheuer, and the club register also names the Gasthaus Zur Traube as a playing place. In Deidesheim on the Weinstraße the chess department of the TSG meets from eight in the lower small hall of the town hall.
